Tunnels play a vital role in infrastructure. Many of them are aging and in need of major renovations. They cannot be shut down due to required high availability. Because of the volume and urgency of the tasks, this challenge needs to be addressed at an international scale. The conference Beyond a tunnel vision is an important stepping stone in European collaboration.
This second edition of the European conference on tunnel renovation was fully digital! The plenary and parallel sessions were broadcasted live online from seven European countries.
